How to Not Be Affected by the Outer or Physical World – A Spiritual Perspective!


Have you ever felt like the outside world or physical world or 3D world is pulling you in too many directions? Like your inner peace is constantly at war with the noise, chaos, and drama of the physical world? If so, you're not alone—this is the universal struggle of the soul in a human body. 

So, relax and take a deep breath through your nose and release through your mouth with a big sigh.

As a spiritual being on this earthly plane, I too have faced moments when the outside world felt too loud, too heavy. The judgment of others, financial pressures, emotional turbulence, social expectations, they used to shake my inner being. But through experience, inner work, and divine grace, I’ve come to realize something powerful:

 The outer world is only a mirror. True peace begins when you stop chasing the reflection and start nurturing the source and that is your inner self, your soul, inner authentic version of you.

Do this to not get affected by the outer world-

1. Witness, Don’t Absorb

Instead of reacting to everything, practice observing. This single shift changed my life. When someone speaks harshly or when circumstances go out of control, remind yourself: "I am the observer. I am the awareness behind all this." When you don’t absorb, you don’t suffer. You simply witness the play of life.

 2. Anchor into Silence Daily

The physical world thrives on noise- TV, news, social media, and endless opinions and suggestions about your personal and professional life. But the soul speaks only in silence. Every morning, sit with your breath. Inhale divine energy, exhale the world. With even 10 minutes of silence, your inner strength begins to rise above external distractions. Inhale love, peace, blessings and positive energy of the universe to start your day and let everything unfold naturally today with ease. Visualise the desired perfect day.

3. Detach with Love

Detachment doesn’t mean not caring, it means not clinging and attaching to the particular way or outcome. You can love someone deeply and still not let their anger disturb your core. You can care for your job and still not tie your identity to it. This kind of loving detachment is liberation. Universe is abundant. It has unlimited ways to fulfill your desires. So, be in peace.

4. Remind Yourself: "I Am Not This Body"

You are not your body. Not your thoughts. Not even your emotions. These are passing clouds in the sky of your being. When you identify with your eternal soul, the temporary waves of the material world stop dragging you down. You are a beautiful soul and you are here in this physical body for a purpose, for love, for abundance and have everything your soul desires.

5. Surrender to a Higher Power

Trying to control everything is exhausting. I learned this the hard way. But the moment I started surrendering to the Divine- be it God, the Universe, the Creator or my Higher Self—life became lighter. Say it with faith: “Let thy will be done.” You’ll notice miracles begin where resistance ends. Release all resistance from your physical and energetic body.

🌺 Final Thoughts from the Heart

The world outside may never change, but you can. Peace is not found in escaping the world but in rising above its pull. You are not here to be shaken by every wave. You are the ocean. If you change from inside, the outer world will begin to shift as per your vibrations. So, always live in high vibrations and remember you are a beautiful creation of the universe. 

Choose inner stillness. Choose your soul. And watch the outer world lose its power over you.
